IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 will provide admission to the five-year integrated BS-MS, BS, and BTech degree programmes offered at seven IISER institutes and IISc Bangalore. To secure admission to these courses, candidates must appear for the entrance examination.

The IISER 2026 registration process is tentatively expected to begin in online mode in the second week of March 2026. The IISER 2026 exam is likely to be conducted in the fourth week of May 2026. The examination will assess candidates’ domain knowledge, critical thinking, and analytical understanding of subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology through multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The exam will be held for a duration of three hours in online/CBT mode.
